Freight Charges
Ocean FCL prices from the Far East will increase again in July. Our broker has informed us that the F.E.F.C. have proposed an increase of US$ 300/20ft and US$ 600/40ft container. This will mean higher prices for Essential Oils in due course.

Sandalwood Oil
Price difference for certified and uncertified Sandalwood Oil as much as US$ 200-00/kilo CIF. Most of the uncertified is offered outside of India and quality may be questionable.

Rose Absolute / Oil
Although figures have not been finalised yet, production is down on previous years for both Rose Otto and Absolute. One US trader is already offering the Rose Otto Bulgarian in excess of US$ 8000-00/kilo. Our supplier in Bulgaria has indicated an increase of minimum EURO 400-00/kilo for his Rose Absolute. More details as they become available.

Rosemary Oil
Moroccan Rosemary Oil is short, while Tunisian Rosemary continues to fall in price. We were offered a reduction of EURO 4-00/kilo CIF for minimum 1 Tonne lots. We expect this price to fall further in the coming months.
