Borage Seed Oil
Our European supplier advises that a poor harvest in Canada has led to a
shortage of material for processing. New Zealand material is still
expensive compared to N. American Borage, leading to about a 15% increase
in Premium Grade GLA Borage Seed Oil.
Geranium Oil
Distillation of Chinese Geranium about to commence, but it will be a few
weeks yet before supplies become available. Initial figures put the crop
between 50 - 60 Tonnes.
Neroli Oil
Some competitively priced parcels are being offered from Tunisia, but
quality is not very good. Should have known prices were too good to be
true, as this years crop commences in a few weeks.
Petitgrain Oil
Weak demand for Paraguyan Petitgrain means prices continue to ease.
Sandalwood Oil
It has been over six weeks since any Sandalwood Indian has been offered,
and any available stock seems to be in the hands of re-sellers, who are
hoping to drive the price toward US$ 680 - 700 kilo.
Tea Tree Oil
Every so often we hear of potential shortages, or drought conditions which
will lead to short supplies, but still there seems to be good availability
of Tea Tree Oil Australian. Premium high Terpinen-4-ol content in excess
of 40% is available but at a slight premium over cheaper
technical/pharmaceutical grades.
